| Posted: | | | | I have the Lorax Blu-ray/DVD combo. The current entry in Invelos doesn't have the DVD child profile listed. However, when I put the DVD in my computer and try to add it by inserted disc, it says that the DVD is actually the Blu-ray and the same UPC. Do you how I can fix this and get the Disc ID for the DVD so I can create the child profile?
Let me know if this was unclear--thanks in advance! |

| Posted: | | | | I would say contribute the correction, be clear and detailed in notes. Perhaps even open a support ticket. Now I do have one question. The wonderful folks over at the mouse house usually will do a tandem release, they will release a dcs based combo AND a be based combo. Same basic items just two different cases. Go figure. This is not true in this case I presume | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | While there is a DVD release of this title, it has not been added to the online database. Add by disc-id will bring up the Blu-ray profile because the DVD is included in the list of discs (as it should be). | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for your help. How do I add the DVD then? I can't add by UPC because it doesn't have it own one, and when I added by inserted it just shows the Blu-ray and won't let me add anything else. |

| Posted: | | | | Could it be that the DiscID of the DVD has been entered as a second disc in the Bluray profile? If it is the case, then you'd have to remove that disc from the profile, create the child profile by discID, submit it as a new profile and finally add it in the boxset content of the Bluray. |

Very easy, when adding by DiscID just uncheck "Download profile from Invelos" at the lower left. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting bbbbb: Quote: What? Some BD-DVD combos are entered as a two discs profile (no boxset content), for instance: Inception (UPC 883929159703.3) Others are entered as a boxset: the BD is the parent profile and has one disc, the DVD is the child, (for instance: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (UPC 786936817249.19) Finally, some have both: the DVD is entered twice, once as a second disc in the parent profile, once as a child in the boxset, for instance: Green Lantern (UPC 883929207343.3) EDIT: I'd be curious to know if our community has a doctrine on that. The above three ways of contributing BD/DVD combos cannot be all right. | | | Last edited: by Wigram |

That's the way I read the rules. The Blu-ray&DVD-Combo parent gets the Disc-Infos of both contained medias and it's allowed to add a dvd-child-profile as Box Set content. |

We profile the B-rD, enter all discs, and tolerate the main feature DVD disc-level child profile box set entry. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played.
