| Posted: | | | | Hello all !
I've got a bluray which is indicated as '2.0 Mono DTS HD Master Audio' for some languages. What audio format should I put for the profile ? 2 Channel or Mono ?
Thanks !
Edit : I just saw the answer in the conrtibution rules : 'Note: Select Mono for both 1-channel and 2-channel mono.'
So no more problem ^^ | | | Last edited: by baham |

| Posted: | | | | I guess 1.0 would be the center speaker ( mono) and 2.0 would be left and right ( no center) in identical mono ... ( and I have seen 3.0 mono which would be across the front all three speakers ..) | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | May I suggest 2.0 though it's described as 2.0 stereo. The main issue is that 2.0 mono will be hear in two right and left channels same audio. Iif you look at 1.0, the only channel will be hear is center one. This is why I choose 2.0 when mono audio comes by two RL speakers. |

Yes, but it's still mono. Quote: Iif you look at 1.0, the only channel will be hear is center one. We don't have an option for 1.0. We only have "mono" without specification how many channels are used. Quote: This is why I choose 2.0 when mono audio comes by two RL speakers. That's OK if you keep it local. Two channel mono and stereo are completely different things. |

| Posted: | | | | I once remember an audio commentary playback of only the rear speakers but the main film soundtrack played thru the front speakers (faintly) in mono.. but can't think of the title therefore don't know the schematics of the mix.
