| Posted: | | | | I have been adding some Blu-Rays lately and the UPC has come up as unknown, so after compiling all the info from the cover and credits, adding to profiler and contributing. I find that the contribution for the UPC has already been uploaded? Anyone have an idea whats happening? I always refresh online list. | | | Remember when you upgraded from VHS to DVD and swore you'll never watch another VHS. | Posted: | | | | It happened to me once, when I submitted my contribution after somebody else had already submitted one, but before that earlier contribution had been approved and released. I believe it is possible to see the submission through the contribution notes for the UPC, even if it is not yet in the database. | | | Last edited: by Wigram |

| Posted: | | | | This usually happens to new releases when on release day several contributors are working on the same profile. This is actually nothing bad, but shows that in your country you have a very active contributing community. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Seems strange though, these are older releases. For instance Die Hard 4.0 i did this morning 9321337112046 There has been a contribution in april 2010 for this UPC but it still is not recognised by profiler. | | | Remember when you upgraded from VHS to DVD and swore you'll never watch another VHS. | Posted: | | | | OK SORTED!!!!!
Possibly a bug with the program, I just added "I, Robot" 9321337112183 as an unknown without editing. Then updated profile and images from my collection and it worked.

| Posted: | | | | In this case it is very likely that your Online Profile List is (was) somewhat outdated.
Since you said that you always refresh it: How do you do this? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Weird. I've just had the very same problem. Went to add a new title. It wasn't found on-line. Put in all the relevant information and then uploaded it all, only to be told it was previously approved in 2009! |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah it's strange Greyhulk, i thought i was an isolated case, possibly a bug in program. I have had a couple of crashes and sent error reports too. | | | Remember when you upgraded from VHS to DVD and swore you'll never watch another VHS. | Posted: | | | | I've not had the crashes, but I must admit I have had to repair my database rather more than is usual recently. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

I've had to repair database a couple of times this week. First time in ages. Couldn't download updates until I had. Exactly the same reason I've had to. |
