I have already an extensive database on my IPad and have just decided to download the PC version of DVD Profiler. How do i transfer the database over to the PC?

What program are you using on the iPad? Does it have a way to export to XML or CSV?
Thanks for your support.

First, I would suggest you connect your iPad to your PC/Mac and make a backup. There have been reports of trouble syncing the databases when the database originates on an iOS device. If you run into trouble you can restore the iPad from the backup.

You probably set up your database as a local database on the iPad. Go to "Databases" and select your collection. There you should see an option "Connect to DVD Profiler for PC". Tap this option to change your database to a shared database. Now you get the same option again. Tap it again and you get the option to enter some settings and a "Help" button. Press the "Help" button and follow the instructions. Taro made an excellent guide to prevent all kinds of network and router related problems.

Well I seem to have transfered about half of it but now the Ipad seems to "throw" me out and crash after a couple of minutes :-(

Oops, somehow I thought you were talking about a non-Invelos product.

Try disabling the image sync (Databases - Update - Options - More options). Then reboot your iPad and close and open the desktop version. Now try again.
