| Posted: | | | | My profile has over 1300 DVD and I just found a DVD in my collection that isn't in the profile. It looks like I forgot to add the DVD when I got it long ago. So here's my question: is there an easy way to check and quickly add missing DVD without having to print out a list of 1300 DVDs? |

| Posted: | | | | Confused. If you didn't enter a profile how could the program tell you it was missing. I think the only thing you can is by doing an inventory against the program. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

I believe there's a plug-in written for this, called DVD Inventory, but I think you're going to have to be able to scan barcodes to make it quick and easy. I haven't used it myself, but I'm sure someone around here has tried it out. --------------- |

| Posted: | | | | I agree, I've used it and it's easy to work with. It also helps find bad upc codes which is nice if you've ever found a profile by title only. | | | Lori |

Or an Android-Smartphone, there is an app named "barcode2file" which, as the name suggests, reads UPC and stores them in a plain-text-file. Thankfully such a file can be loaded by DJ Doena's fine program. If you have an iPhone I would think/guess/hope that there is a similar app available. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

cya, Mithi Yes, it's called DVD Profiler for iOS Simply scan the barcode and DVDP will show the profile (or add the DVD to your collection if there is no profile). |
