| Posted: | | | | I'm looking to create a new collection: Mad Monkey Collection 1: Japanarama (Asian Battle Babes) EAN: 9789461870346 This set includes 3 films: 2 LDK, Machine Girl, and Chanbara Beauty. It's a R2 box set. Problem is, with the profile being no film in particular (Mad Monkey Collection 1), how do I go about creating a box set like that? | | | Be water my friend. |

1) Enter the parent profile (package with EAN) into your local database. 2) Put each of discs into your DVD-ROM drive and choose "Enter by DiscID" in the "Add to Collection"-dialogue. 3) Open the profile editor of the parent, click on "Box Set" and attach the children to the parent.
After clicking on "OK" you will find a "+" in front of the parent profile. Click on it and the children will become visible.
EDIT: After entering the children by DiscID, please check in DVDProfiler menu "DVD -> Change EAN" if locality and identifier are correct. Identifier should be the DiscID (not EAN, except if the children are packed seperately and have a EAN of their own), locality should be the country where the DVD was originally sold (normally your home-country). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Hey Silence_of_Lambs, Thank you for your answer. Just to make sure you understood my question completely, the problem is that I don't know how to create a profile from scratch (I can't seem to find an option for that), and the EAN itself is not recognized. So I cannot create a parent profile, because the name of the box itself is not a film, and the versions of the discs that this box includes, aren't known either.
So basically, I have to input everything myself, but don't know where to start. Am I still making myself clear, or did I make it all too confusing? | | | Be water my friend. |

At the screen Add DVD by UPC , deselect Download profile from Invelos: You can now create any profile you want: |

| Posted: | | | | Ha! Okay, thanks Wigram, I'll try that one out EDIT: Your combined comments helped me through. My provider has put me on smallband (yes, we still have download limits here), and it seems even a small upload like a new contribution fails because of a read timeout. I'll continue updating the profile offline, and submit it once I get my broadband back. Thank you very much for your help Wigram and Silence_of_Lambs | | | Be water my friend. | | | Last edited: by Radi0n |
