| Posted: | | | | Hello all... I recently purchased the Blu-ray edition of the animated film Robots (024543-703549) and, along with others, have noticed that the "Aunt Fanny" featurette mentioned on the back cover is not found on the Blu-ray disc as it is on the DVD. A call to Fox Home Entertainment confirms this to be true. I have entered the following phrase on my entry in the Personal Notes section: It is confirmed by a Fox Home Entertainment representative that the "Aunt Fanny's Tour of Booty" animated short is NOT on the disc even though it is listed on the back cover. They said it was an early printing error and were sorry, but the short will not be included in this edition.Although this would not be considered an Easter Egg (unless it is an egg in the face! ), how would others feel if this phrase were to be added to the profile as an Easter Egg, so as to be able to share this information with others since Notes are not shared out in a profile. Thanks for your input! |

| Posted: | | | | Great question and I'm looking forward to seeing the results. This sounds like a note I'd leave for myself, although mine would call the cover a lying sack or something colorful like that. I'm gonna guess most say no as it's not an egg and most are very anal about what goes where (how dirty does that sound?), but still will wait to see. I'd probably lean towards no myself, but definitly include a note on the contribution (if you contribuite it) of what the deal is and what you put in your personal notes, many others would appreciate that. |

| Posted: | | | | To me this is no different then what Gerri already confirmed as not an easter egg of the disc when someone tried to add they spotted R2D2 in the newest Star Trek Movie. Something on the back cover that is not there is not an Easter Egg. How can it be an Easter Egg if it is something that isn't even there? I have many releases that the case says something is there that is not. I sure wouldn't want them all listed in the Easter Egg section. Whether it is missing features that was never added or the case saying both widescreen and full framed when only full framed is included. Missing suibtitles or what have you. Such things only weaken the Easter Egg section considering what it is meant to be used for. Sounds like to me something that should just be put into notes section. Here is the thread where Gerri settled it when it came to r2D2 in the Star Trek Film CLICK HEREI would definitely vote no to any such contribution. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Looking at the rules for Easter Eggs it says... Quote: Easter Eggs are extra features hidden on the disc and not accessible through an obvious menu option. Be sure to match language of the Easter eggs to the profile's locality. See what I put in bold telling you exactly what an Easter Egg is as far as Invelos is concerned. I see no way how something that is NOT on the Disc could be considered an Easter Egg per rules. So should be voted down if such a thing is contributed. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Wait a minute... you guys aren't actually entering this as a feature on the disc when it isn't actually present, are you? | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." | | | Last edited: by Grendell |

Is the feature on any BD disc that may be associated with this profile? Or is it something that was never included. If it was included originally, then the "rerelease" info would need to be local only. (not what was described) If it was a misprint, and truly is not on the disc in this profile ever, then it needs to be removed from the online with proper documentation. | Posted: | | | | Thanks to all who replied to this posting with your thoughts and ideas.
No I would not intentionally post the Notes regarding a missing feature into the Easter Egg section. But at least making mention of this has stirred up some good ideas.
Possibly include a new "Trivia" section for special notes like this. Or how about a section called "Production/Manufacturing Errors" to note these instances.
Any additional thoughts would be great to hear. Thanks again! |

| Posted: | | | | I would also like something like this as it would minimize people resubmitting erroneous cover info. |
