| | Posted: | | | | I hate making long detailed posts here, just to have the forum return some kind of weird error when I click the Submit button and lose everything I just tried to post, it's happened twice now.
I just tried to make a post in the Contribution forum, with a lot of painstaking detail in it, clicked the Submit button, the forum gave me some kind of a weird error message and I lost everything I had just taken a great deal of time and effort to type.
I will NOT recreate my post, I'm suitably pissed that I lost everything that I'd wanted to say. -kd5- | | | | Time is the fire in which we burn. (Soran) |

When posting longer replies it has shown to be useful to write them in Wordpad (comes with Windows) first and then use "Copy and Paste".
When forgetting to do this your Browser has a very useful button, the "Back"-button. This will get you back to your message. Use "Copy", refresh the page then paste your message back into the editor.
When knowing some basic HowTo there's usually no need to be "suitably pissed". | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Probably it's because of your browser settings. I set mine (Opera) so that it keeps track of everything and only deletes it when I close the browser, or delete manually.
