| | Posted: | | | | There's been a slew of contributions changing the scans for images changing it from the outer slip cover to the scan of the inner for the child profiles (and then unchecking the "Slip Cover" check box).
Is there something in the rules about this or had Ken made a ruling on the forum in the past? I'm sure the change is allowed but missed where it was said to be done. |

The problem there is you uncheck that and it adds an extra Blu-ray banner on top of the scan of the slip cover. I know the rules were made in regards to DVD but IMO need to be adjusted in some way to account for Blu-rays. That may cause a problem... I don't know. (I don't have any Blu-ray) But it is what the rules tells us to do. So that is what must be followed for the online database. At least until Invelos tells us otherwise. | | | | Pete |

If it's just one Amaray inside a slip case holding six discs of a season, you take the slip cover scan.
If it's 3 or 6 slim cases inside a slip case holding six discs of a season, you take the 3 or 6 slim cover scans.
In the first case I've never removed the slip case checkbox from the child profiles. The profiles basically inherit their entire case type and cover scan from the parent. | | | Karsten
