| Posted: | | | | Situation: I have a new boxset, the profile is unknown to the database the profile for the box set has been contributed and is apporved.
Now its about the box set content. The three films included are not induvidually packaged and have no EAN/UPC of their own.
Because the profile of the films does exist as DvD, I have added those profiles to my box set and made the necessary changes. However, the three films have a EAN. I was able to delete the disc IDs from the profile but I can't delete the EAN.
To add discs without EAN, I would need to include the individuall disc ID, which would require to put the disc into the drive of the PC. Because I don't have a bluray-drive, I can't do that.
Should I contribute the profiles of the three films including the false EAN and mention that the EAN are false in my comment? |

| Posted: | | | | NEVER contribute false EANs and you will need a blu-ray drive to add the disc ids to the profiles |

| Posted: | | | | Right. Without the drive in your computer to get the Disc IDs there is no way for you to add them to the online database. All you can do at this point is add them as manual profiles locally only. At least until someone else can make the Disc ID profiles. Or you get a BR drive. | | | Pete |
