| Posted: | | | | Hi, I want to write a command file that copies text written in the field 'special features' of a DVD to the field 'notes'. Is this possible?
I ve got nearly 900 DVDs and it would last a verly long time to do this manually.
Can anybody help me, please
Thanks in advance! Olaf |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks! O.K. in theory it helps...but
there is unfortunalety no field to choose called "'special features" or 'other features 1' 'other features 1' contains the location of my discs. I use this field in the printed reports. In order to have the location in my ipad app i d like to copy it from 'other features' to 'location'
But anywhere in that database it must be..! |

Tomorrow is major N'easter - sitting at home all day watching the snow. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! P.S. Where are you sitting that you already can watch snow in fall..? Ok, done. Try V2.30. My pleasure. You can use the Column Copy tool of Multi-Copy to bulk transfer Other Features to Location. If you decide later to clear the contents of Other Features, use the Regex Find/Replace. I live in the Hudson Valley, Upstate NY. We are getting an unusual record-breaking early winter storm known as a "Nor-easter" - meaning that it sweeps up through the Northeastern parts of the US with high winds and heavy snow. This storm is running in a diagonal pattern extending from the Southwestern states across through Virgina, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersy, New York and into "New England" (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire). Thanks for asking. I did some travelling in Germany during my student years and saw some brutal winter snow there as well (but it was all soothed by massive quantities of Bier and lovely smiling girls bringing them! ) (I saw your response. You're welcome, and don't be shy to report if I messed something up.) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!!
