I have a registered version of DVD Profiler and am having a couple different problems.

First, there are several different movies in the collection whose profiles won't open when I double click on them, nor will all of the boxes on the right 2/3's of the screen change to match the movie selected in the "Collection List".  Out of a collection of 380some movies there are somewhere around 50 that have this problem. There are no obvious similarities between the movies that I can find. When I double click on one of the "problem" movies it opens the profile for the last one that doesn't have a problem (the one still showing on the right 2/3's).

Second, and this may be linked to the first problem, when I do the profile refresh it never completes. Whether it is when the program prompts upon opening or when I click "Refresh Updated Profiles" neither completes. It opens the first window to download the profile list from online, then the small box with two progress bars comes up. Both bars go to 100% but then it stays there forever.

Don't know if this will help or not, but here's one example of a movie whose profile won't open.
"Holes" opens fine on my online list (www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/samhampton) but will not open on my computer.

Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

I've experienced the first problem you described but have no idea why it happens. What I would do is run the "Database Repair Utility" (it's located in the same folder as DVD Profiler (My Programs > DVD Profiler for Windoes XP). I've run that and it seemed to solve the problem.

As for the second one, no idea but maybe the repair utility will fix that as well...

Thank you very much, that seemed to fix both problems.

Seems like there has been a rash of this happening lately. Has happened to me twice in the last 3 weeks.
