If you group by year you have only a few numbers left which you can add with a calculator.

Now you can sort by that column by clicking on the column header. Twice for sorting descending. Then you'll find the entry that was purchased in 2010.
When press CTRL+P you can change the purchase date. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | The total is the sum of all SRPs. The average is, well, the average. If you have one DVD with an SRP of $20 and one with $10 then the average is $15 ( (20+10) / 2 ). | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Oh and I wonder if my DVD Profiler collection would be good enough for insurance purposes? I don't save receipts so the SRP is all I have. So State Farm, you owe me like 20Gs for my blu-ray collection that went up in flames. Anyone know? | | | Blu-ray collection order; Music>Musicals>Documentaries>TV shows>Criterions>Movies | | | Last edited: by jamestech |

My collection isn't that huge (851 movies, 378 TV seasons). I just have a lot of profiles to keep track of my watched status. Also, in Germany we have a similar system like the SRP, the UVP, but that's mostly for electronic devices, not really for small items like DVDs and CDs. And lastly: What do I care if the SRP is $39.99 when Amazon.com is selling it for $24.99 in the first week of release? Personally, I use the SRP field to keep track of my purchases in the original currency (mostly US Dollar, Canadian Dollar and British Pound) while the purchase price field is reserved for the price I paid in my own currency (€uro). | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

I dare say by itself it wouldn't be but I combine it with semi-regularly updated photos of my collection on the shelves and I believe that should be. It's a better starting point for negotiations with the insurance company if the worst does ever happen. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
