First time posting tried to see if someone wrote about this before but can't find anything.
I'm not able to save a bluray profile with A,B,C region that is translated to No region. However this isn't optimal as this can mean that it is all regions - or that no one has filled this field. Any plan for changing this?

Unlikely.
There was a very intense discussion about a year ago and if I recall correctly the majority either didn't care or wanted it to remain the way it is now.

Oh, and since this was your first post here:

Welcome to this forum
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Well, I have yet to find a blu-ray that really is coded for region A, B and C. Most if not all of the so-called all region discs are in fact not region coded so in this case it makes sense to enter them as no region. But I agree it also means that we can't see if the field has been contributed or just left blank, but that is true for some of the other data fields as well.

My problem is that I want to buy blurays from US, and therefore I'd like to be able to check beforehand if it works or not - today I have bought both ABC compatible and those that are only A. As it's hard to get this information on sites I kind of like to trust users that has checked

It's not that hard to find the information, this is one of the best places to get it. Also blu-ray.com and dvdbeaver usually list the regions for discs they review.

Great, thanks!

I'll use the links instead. Seem to be a safer bet. Tested my 3 failure in buying from US and got hit on locked. So I'll use that in the future. (But I still think it looks better to have the letters  )
