| Posted: | | | | Right now when someone contributes a profile with a brand new Birth Year they can't edit their notes or withdraw it in case of errors.
Standard profile contributions have this capability, so I can't see why this should be any different.
Also as far as I know even if you re-contribute the same profile, but with the errors fixed the previous contribution with errors remains up instead of over-writing it.
This should be fixed. |

That's been my experience. Not at contributions with new birth years. It will start a second contribution. Maybe because these contributions go directly into the review pool. At this also normal contributions can't be withdrawn. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | But it seems that in this case the BYs were not contributed, so no special handling required. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | I can confirm what CubbyUps is referring to. Last month I submitted a brand new profile and included a new BY for approval, complete with documentation. I had forgotten about the special processing for new BYs and didn't realize it till i saw the status on my Contributions page.
I resubmitted w/o the BY one minute later but it didn't clear the first contribution. My Contributions list had two now.
The second was approved the next morning. The first sat in "Reviewing" for three full weeks and was then approved.
CubbyUps has one with a new BY he wanted to withdraw and resubmit for an unrelated error but can't which is what he asking for the power to do. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
