Removing child profiles

I am trying to remove child profiles for a couple of season/box sets that I have - house MD season 4 and Spiderman hidef trilogy but I am having no luck at all - each time I try to remove the profile, I still have the child profiles visible but they are named differently (i.e. I can see house md season four disc 2 in the 'owned' pane, but the bigger pane shows another altogether different title)

Any clues? Looks like a bug to me but could be I am doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance.

can you remove the entire box set from your collection  and then find the title again in the data base and when Profiler  asks you ''do you want the child sets to be added''  .. click NO ...

but before you do  record the date you added to your library and the costs you paid or any other notes to keep . .then reedit these into your new downloaded set ..

I'm not sure that I fully understand the problem, but just in case I do (only trying to delete the child profile and not the parent profile). Move the child profile out of the parent profile so that they are at the same "level" and then remove the entry that once was the child profile.

Just to make sure: you right-click on the child-profile to "House" and choose "Remove from Collection" and the profile is not removed but ... for the lack of a better word, garbled up?

In that case you are in dire need of a database-repair: Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair Profile Database and choose "Full"

Try to delete them again if they are not killed by the db-repair.
