| Posted: | | | | I have a lot of TV series, some have an + on the thumbnail and those have profiles for each episode, others do not. How can I download or set to download profiles for those that currently don’t have individual episode profiles in my collection? |

How can I download or set to download profiles for those that currently don’t have individual episode profiles in my collection? Profiles can be added to the online database either by UPC or by DiscID. So the lowest level right now is a profile per disc, which may contain only one episode or multiple episodes. Locally you can add what you want. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

The way I do it is to flag my TV series profiles that have no child profiles assigned as of yet and then from the menu: Collection>Flagged>Check for Child Profiles. It's easy for me to flag all of my TV series because I have the genre for those set as the primary genre then I just filter on genre Television. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | By the way, this is a user-constructed database, and for many TV-series child profiles may not (yet) be available, and many are empty if they exist.
In contrast with movie boxsets, where child profiles are mandatory and the parent profile is almost empty, for TV-series the parent profile must be filled and child profiles are optional. | | | Hans | | | Last edited: by Staid S Barr |

And then you have profiles for each episode? There are no Episodic Profiles in the database...only child profiles for each disc that comprises the TV series. I just assumed the OP was referring to Child Profiles. Addicted2DVD (Pete) created an Episode Guide feature in the HTML or Notes section of DVDP that lists each episode within a series with images. But other than that... | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: by Bad Father |
