| Posted: | | | | hello my collection numbers seem to be one out and when i change the number the next one goes out of order,i am using wine on my linux laptop so i can use dvd profiler,can some one please tell me how i can change numbers on my collection without the next in line not correct,i am doing a refresh under view ? thank you. |

| Posted: | | | | Could you describe what you mean by "going out of order"?
DVDP assigns the first free number it can find.
If you have the collection numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5 and you add a new movie, DVDP will assign the 4.
If you have a closed sequence with numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 then the next number will be 5.

| Posted: | | | | in my collection box i have 369-up in the world 370-unforgiven 371-underworld on my dvd profiler list i have no 371 and when i change underworld from 372 to 371 i have not got a 372 do you think i need to add a new dvd in 372 sorry if this does not make sense as i am confusing myself,i did have 2 dvd titles for the same number a few times and i deleted the one that was not in my box. thank you. |

| Posted: | | | | In the menu "Collection" you have an option "Re-assign Collection Number" . Try to re-number your collection with the option to eliminate uplicates and gaps. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
