| Posted: | | | | Perhaps something has gone wrong in the initial sync. If your desktop version is up to date (meaning: contains all the correct data), then it might be worth it to completely delete the DB on your iPad and resync from scratch. That should theoretically solve it ...
Also, might be worth it to check and make sure your iPad has the latest iOS version as well as the latest DVDP app version installed. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

Sometimes, things like that can happen if there was a short interruption in the wireless datastream. I guess your best course is a clean install on the iPad and resync the entire DB, just to be on the safe side. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Deleted the ap, updated iOS to 4.3.5, re-downloaded the ap. Removed parental controls - still not showing any watched by info - all titles on ap are 'never watched.
disabled wireless, still can't delete database. Choose "convert to local databse" get the "The currant connection can not be deleted"
Back to square one
in the 1st thread i posted, 8ballmax was kind enough to post some screen caps, in the screen caps one is called Include in 'recent' under watched status. Curious as to how you get to this screen from watched status? |

To get to that screen:
Browse>Watched Status>Recently Watched (Press the little blue icon with the > symbol) Many thanks for your help Max - your posts have given me a good insight to what's going on here. I got to the page, last 60 days is selected so that option is accounted for. But as none of my AP collection reflects the PC version watched by history i can't use this method. Of course i can remember most of the ones ive seen - but not all. Must be a gremlin in the system somewhere! |

| Posted: | | | | Odd question but if you check your iPhone and your desktop versions: do the same users exisit (meaning, in the list of clickable persons who watch, is the list the same?)
Let's say all your discs are watched by you, but in the iPhone you as a user don't exisit, then the watched info won't show up, I think.
I once had that problem because my gf is Japanese, so her name is in Japanese in my iPhone. I imported her into DVDP iPhone app and it caused the whole thing to crash.
Perhaps the user DB is at the source of your problem ... just guessing here. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the reply Taro. The AP only has the same watcher as the PC version which the AP itself created upon installation
as an experiment i marked a title as watched in the AP, the AP updated the PC version. I then removed the watched status on the AP but it didn't update the PC version | | | Last edited: by dddp |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks again Max, you've been very generous in your efforts to help me and i do appreciate it very much
The only option that mine doesn't have is the sharing option to allow changes from the internet, when i tried mine it reported that it was blocked. The normal setting i use is my network only. All other things check out OK
i notice that when i update my APP, it reports that it sends/or doesn't send changes - but it doesn't report that it receives changes. I don't know if this is relevant or not or if others are the same, but that's how mine is
Cheers, dddp |
