Hope I posted this in the correct section of the forum.
Would it be possible to integrate a feature into the profiler that marks differences in the overviews from one's own profiles and those available in the database in the update preview? It is really time-consuming and often frustrating when one has to compare the text word by word and symbol by symbol to find differences like typos, spaces or quotations. |

Yes, that would really be a good idea! cya, Mithi PS Workaround: copy both into an editor that has a compare-feature. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

However, until such a feature is added, I found an awesome alternative: http://text-compare.com/
You copy/paste the text on each side, click "Compare" and it highlights. Simple. It's online and it's free so anyone can use it without having to install anything.
The only downside is that, because standard text boxes are used, it does not register bold and italics formatting. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
