| Posted: | | | | Ok so i decided to start a fresh profile and i scanned my blu-rays/dvds with my iphone then decided I would sync to my computer also with a fresh profile.
The problem iam having is when i set my phone to sync with the computer it starts to sync i can see the wifi going mad on the phone then the programme crashes.
I thought maybe just a one time bug so restarted both computer and phone but again exact same thing.
The phone has the connecting ticked but nothing else , it has sort of added some of the blurays about 262 but thats not even half of what i have scanned.
I dont want to delete dvdprofiler off my phone to reinstall it as I will need to scann them all again.
Can anyone help ? I would have thought this would be simple to do but it just constantly crashed after about 60 second on the phone . |

| Posted: | | | | Backup your phone via iTunes. Now you can try to solve the problem without risking permanently loosing your data.
Make sure that DVDP is removed from the multitask bar. Simply rebooting the phone will restore the previous state otherwise. Also make sure that DVDP for Windows doesn't still show a connected device. Now try to sync again. Also try to be close to your router to make sure the problem isn't caused by a bad wi-fi connection.
If that doesn't solve the problem, try temporarily disabling the sync for covers (under Databases - Update Database - More Options) and repeat the previous step.
If that doesn't work, check which profiles were synced with your PC. If they are the first 262 profiles, it's likely that profile 263 on your phone somehow causes the crash. Delete that profile and try syncing again.
Okay, that's all I can think of in the middle of the night. Good luck. |

| Posted: | | | | I have the same problem: I just have installed DVD Profiler on my iPhone and scanned about 20 DVDs in it (liked it very much!). Now I want to have the PC version as well and downloaded the test version (using Mac with Parallels Virtual Windows XP). I don't manage to synch my iPhone content to the PC Version.
"Make sure that DVDP is removed from the multitask bar." What and where is this multitask bar??
"disabling the sync for covers (under Databases - Update Database - More Options)" What are you referring to? PC Version of DVD-Profiler? I can't find a command "Databases" - regrettably I have chosen the German language version.
I am totally lost - and total beginner as well.
HELP! Thank you. |

Can you establish a connection between the app and the desktop version but the sync doesn't work or are you unable to even get a connection ? Now you should see all apps that are running on your phone on the bottom of the screen. Next hold the DVDP icon until it starts to wiggle and close the app completely by touching the minus symbol. HELP! Thank you. Databases is a tab at the bottom of DVDP on your iPhone. The second from the right. |
