Does anybody know the title? |

| Posted: | | | | There is an old Anchor Bay dvd as well. Pretty sure this is one of the titles that Blue Underground got the rights for and basiclly re-issued the Achor Bay disc with BU logos being the only difference (maybe cover slightly altered, but content indentical).
There's 3 copies of the AB dvd on amazon for $1.50 or less right now, all listed in very good condition. The BU ones start at $6 or so. Looks like they are the same but for logos: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=2178
Only reviews I can find are for the AB. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

The audio & video quality on the Blue Underground release are infinitely superior to the original release (the original release looked like it was dubbed off a VHS, coverart wasn't much better). So, my limited experience with them has been good. | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection |

| Posted: | | | | I have a couple of Blue Underground's blu-rays, New York Ripper and Prowler. Both are so much better than the old dvds it's comical. Both of these films look far better than I thought either could look due to age and budget.
Their early dvds were mostly re-issues of Anchor Bay titles that William Lustig had rights to or something like that. Since then they have made their own transfers and features and are pretty darn close to being the Criterion of horror. They are at least what Anchor Bay was to horror 10 years ago, bringing out more obscure yet still known and wanted titles. I can't recall much bitching about them, just lots of love and praise on horrordvds.
Here's a short summary: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Underground |
