| Posted: | | | | Hi,
When I wanna add a dvd to my collection, dvd-profiler blocks. I get a message : Win32 Error - code 5, Access refused. The only thing I can do then is Ctrl-Alt-Del to quit the program. Does anyone know what's wrong?
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. A good place to start would be to run a database repair. If that doesn't work, what version of windows are you running DVDPro on? In what folder are your database files stored? | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I always do the database repair goes automatically after a problem, so in this case that doesn't help. I never had this problem. I'm running DvdPro for many years and it's the first time this problem occurs. I use windows 7 64bit (strange : win32 error it says !!!!!!). The program asks me than to send an Error Message to Invelos. I affirm that, but that doesn't work either. | | | Last edited: by tarzanfilip |

| Posted: | | | | Any recent changes to your PC? Please check your firewall logs for blocked application "dvdvpro.exe" Please check the folders where your database is stored for access rights (Rightclick on folder -> Properties -> Security)
BTW: The "win32 error" is "normal" since DVD Profiler isn't a 64-Bit application and therefore running in 32-Bit compatibility mode. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Might work, but it's unlikely.
But at least it will do no harm, so give it a try. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
