| Posted: | | | | Apologies if this topic has already been raised, but I searched some of the 'Technical' section and could not find it. I have noticed a problem within Profiler for a couple of years now, which I'll try to describe.
When using the mouse wheel or up/down keys to review my database, I'll land on a title, then proceed to the next one...which displays completely identical to the previous title! Click on a different movie somewhere else (which clears it), then again proceed to next one, and the same thing happends again? It seems very random i.e. not necessary linked to any particular profile title and not occurring every time I open my database.
It's a strange, and very annoying problem. I've run the database repair utility many times, which never corrects the problem. I originally thought I may have downloaded a corrupt profile title which caused this glitch, so locating it and deleting the offending profile would sort this out right?....Wrong! I delete the title that first starts this situation from unfolding, but still it continues over-and-over? It is just me experiencing this problem? HELP! Lol... |

| Posted: | | | | I've noticed something similar, but only when the focus is on a thumbnail in the bottom row. The focus actually does move further, but the outline moves to the first thumbnail in the present row.
Or maybe you are discussing a different "feature"? If you use the mouse wheel or arrow keys to move to another profile, the results depend on which (sub)window your mouse pointer is shown in. The best/expected results occur with the mouse pointer in the collection list (except issue above) or general info windows. Some other windows are apparently interpreted for local move inside the window, even if that does not actually change anything. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | Hey Staid!
Thanx 4 your feedback. Just to clear-up. I mentioned the way I was navigating between profiles, but I guess that was not really necessary. Moving from one profile to another on my database, is when this anomaly starts, which is the most important point for me to state. I will add, that restarting Profiler normally stops the problem when it occurs, but this is not a practical way to use any software. I wish I could describe better/clearer my experience, BUT if this has ever happened to you while using Profiler...you'll recognised this problem. |

| Posted: | | | | I guessing from the lack of replies to my bizarre experience within Profiler outlined above, that it must be just me witnessing this problem? I can't believe that its somethings local to my database that is causing this anomaly! But i do wish an Invelos tech would look into i for me... |

| Posted: | | | | I didn't reply since I have nothing more to contribute. Your problem appears to be unique. You may want to send a support ticket to Invelos, since apparently nobody on this forum can help.
On thing I note is that when you move to a profile with e.g. the mouse wheel, and then before proceeding to another profile to edit, you may first want to click on the first profile. to sort of lock in your first move. | | | Hans |

In fact I appreciate u for being the only person who did actually respond to my thread. I was hoping for further input from other users, to say they had seen something similar etc.. So no worries, u done your bit, and I'm guessing I'm the only one to have noticed this weird happening. Btw, I have opened a 'Support Ticket' like u suggested...thanx 4 that |

| Posted: | | | | Yep, I've encountered this several times as well. It was fine for a while after running the database repair but it's cropped up again today. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |
