| Posted: | | | | Love the movie pick feature.
The way I have it set up, I filter all the movies I haven't seen using the filter "not watched by anyone" And for instance, in this case, my list shows 297 movies that have not been watched. I then go to movie select to use it on the filtered selection, and instead of all 297, it only lists "261 matching dvds"
All the constraints of movie pick are set to "all"
Why is it excluding some of the movies from the filter when using movie pick? |

| Posted: | | | | I don't use the feature myself... never seen the use of it. But as a wild guess... could it possibly be the parent profiles of boxsets being automatically excluded since it wouldn't represent a movie? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It asks to download child profiles not parent profiles... but either way if you don't use parent profiles I am afraid I am out of ideas. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Oh ok, yah it is child profiles. I guess I don't know anything about the parent profiles. But I mean I do have 297 individual movies in my list when I use the filter, I can count them, so it isn't listing one movie as multiples through any other profiles. Just when I hit movie select it says 261 matching dvds instead of 297 |

| Posted: | | | | Parent profiles aren't included in movie pick. (tested) But I still miss some: 1349 profiles (every profile counted as 1), but just 1298 in movie pick. With 40 parent profiles = 10 missing without any idea why. |

| Posted: | | | | I've been able to identify a couple of ones that it is omitting, both dvd and blu ray, and I cannot for the life of me pin down what they all have in common that it would be missing when filtering them. It has me stumped... |

It has me stumped... are they Adult titles? If the movie pick is selecting for some which you have said shouldn't see Adult then it could be excluding those? | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | nah, I don't have any adult titles, and have never specified any titles to be excluded from any listings. |

| Posted: | | | | So I think I'm onto it. It seems to skip any movies that have a "box profile" option to download when you download the profile of the movie. Regardless of whether you actually download it or not. I have never downloaded one before.
Thus all my box set titles are counted as just one entry, however the movie pick still excludes even this one entry if there was an option to download a box profile.
Can anyone else play around a bit on their end and confirm that? |

| Posted: | | | | I've confirmed it's also any with a child profile as well as a box set profile, and once again yes regardless of whether you choose to download it or not, it still excludes the title from movie pick.
Any way to add this as a fix request? |
