When deleting, too many steps are involved.
1) tick film(s)
2) press delete
3) tick confirm
4) press accept - that's cumbersome!

Suggestion: One-click delete possible (by setup) please!
1) tick DVD(s)
2) press Delete button (which I have put in the icons bar) - done!

I agree... I want that extra verification. Accidents happen way too easily.

For work I do interface design and programming, so I grant you there is always the issue who to serve? The "hobby user" having lots of time to nurse each entry (the more time it takes the better )  ... or the mass volume user wanting to get things done.

In general DVDProfiler is aimed at the former audience. I really love DVDProfiler and would like to see some more pro-like options for high volume handling also. These preferences are normally dealt with via setup options. I hope Invelos finds it challenging to serve both audiences 

I just don't see it. No matter what kind of a collector you are such a simple point - click - gone deletion system sounds so bad to me. I seriously believe more protection of the data then that is something everyone would want... no matter what level collector you are. It just seems to me you are in the vast minority on this subject. Personally, if I was the programmer... such an easy deletion process with no safeguards would never be an option. In my eyes a safeguard is too important.

The reason for the existing delete process is to ensure that you don't make a mistake and delete by accident.

Under no circumstances would most users want a simply Tick/Delete option. At the very least we would all want a 'Confirm' option.

Then you should have the skills to be able to take advantage of tools such as AutoIt (free). In 5 minutes, you can make a little script that does what you need. If you also want to attach your script to an Icon, you could use the MyTools plugin.

Edit: another way would to request access to the plugins API and write your own ""quick delete." Very easy to do. Once in the Plugin Development Forum, you can get a code snippet to give you a head start.

Trust me, you are not the only pro using this software. And as one who works in the IT field, I would no more want a one click delete than pigs can fly. Years ago when I thought I was better than that, I had windows set to delete immediately instead of putting things in the trash can. I accidentally bumped the delete key while I was in the system folder and had several files highlighted. The dialogue to delete with delete highlighted popped up, as I moved my hand from the main keyboard to the mouse, I bumped the enter key on the numeric kaypad. Guess what...I had to reinstall my OS. So—No Thanks! I can spare the 2 extra seconds (1 for each click) to insure that I meant to delete.
