Just to let you know you're not alone; as far as I can remember I've had this problem for as long as I've had DVDP and whilst annoying I consider it more of an inconvenience than a real problem (though it would be nice if it were fixed I agree).

Thanks for the workaround though; I usually end up just having to wait a while until it 'settles down' or select and deselect other text boxes until it stops... the odd thing being it will go to the right title if you type fast enough but it doesn't filter it just 'selects'!
