| Posted: | | | | Hi Not a very vital topic I guess but stilll disturbing. I'm working with Windows Vista 32 for some months now. Was on xp before. I'm a long user of DVD pro. Two day ago I saw the shortcut I have in startup menu had lost the DVD icon and had a standard Wibdows system icon. However programm started easily. I scrapped the shortcut and tried to do a new one. But I could see dvdpro.exe file in DVD Profiler folder had no DVD anymore. So making a new shortcut doens't help as it has no icon either. Beside that evrything works fine as usual. Thansk for yout ideas. Regards |

Click on the Change Icon button. A new window titled "Change Icon" is displayed with the location field showing the value "C:\Program Files\DVD Profiler\dvdpro.exe" though you can only see the far right, enough to see that dvdpro.exe is selected. The DVD icon should be displayed. If not, click on the Browse button and paste the value you copied previously into the File Name field and click Open. The DVD icon should be displayed for you to select.
If no icon is displayed, your file has been corrupted and you should re-install DVD Profiler and it may be a good idea to scan for viruses. |

| Posted: | | | | Ah, I see now. Desktop icons tend to not show up if installing software (and sometimes later vanish) as a regular user. |
