| | Posted: | | | | First time sync went perfectly. Then sync again to prevent duplicates (as reported).
After adding some movies and did an update, the app crashed.
Updating Database: When "Sending changes:" the App crashes. This was with 1.00 and 3.70. During which I added photos to Users (not add new users from contacts) and changed watched status on some titles.
Now I have updated to 1.01 and 3.71. I still cannot get pass "Sending Changes". Do I have to make a fresh Sync or is there a way to fix this since I have added quite a few movies before the update? |

Are you trying to synch the IOS device with desktop and when it is on Sending changes, the IOS App crashes? (That is what I am getting from your post, please correct if this is not right.)

It will send changes then crash. But I noticed on my PC that some titles were successfully sent over from iOS app, so I tried a few times and it finally successfully sent changes over from my iOS app to PC.
It took about 4-5 sent before all were successfully transfered, then it went on to reading database and copying profiles before it crashes again. This time retries don't work, as soon as it reaches copying profiles, iOS app crashes.
Since I successfully sent changes to my PC, both iOS and PC had the same data, so I decided to create a new database on iOS and sync from PC. This time it sync completely including copying database and images.
I think after updating to 1.01 and 3.71, it is better to create a fresh database and resync your entire collection again as I think some sync bugs from 1.00 may still cause some sync issues. |
