| Posted: | | | | Yes, I've found exactly the same since upgrading from 3.7 to 3.7.1. All reports, regardless of which one, leave the rating field blank. |

| Posted: | | | | I have one report which utilizes images instead of alpha numeric characters and that still works. |

| Posted: | | | | Definitely seems to be a common issue since the last update.
Let's hope it will be fixed in the next update, as I use the Reports feature quite a lot. |

| Posted: | | | | @FLighT: Let me guess, you used the images with the Condition "MPAA Rating" or "Rating" with "equal to" and "Rating_here"... That works fine for every rating system similar to the MPAA rating but other systems fail to work. I've tried to use "Rating" but I don't know what I should use as the value to compare with. For example, I want to show some kind of text (or image, that should not matter), if the film is appropriate for 12 year olds and older. If I use the value FSK-12 (that's the text shown in the drop down menu and DP_Rating in the Header Vars), nothing happens, I've also tried 12 (DP_RatingAge) and the DP_RatingDescription value with the same result. And as long the rating field is empty, I cannot see what I could use as a condition...
@analogueman: Someone from the German Forum tested it with the 3.7.0 version and got the same result, so the bug seems to be older. No one noticed it until then. | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

Right, I do use MPAA Ratings = to. As a consequence the handful of non-US, 7 or 8 Canadian and 2 or 3 region free European disc sssues, end up with blank rating areas but out of over 700 it's just a few so I live with it.
Hopefully the alpha numerical ratings will get fixed at some point.
I started looking more closely ay my reports and noticed a problem with Audio Format Assignments as pertains to Dolby encodes not being picked up correctly. Showing up as just Doly Digital when the first listed in Audio & Subtitles is Dolby EX or Dolby Plus, or Dolby True HD. I'm going to run a few searches to see if I can find out more. Curiously, the DTS designations appear correctly? I've got more investigating to do. | | | Last edited: by FLighT |

The symbol is there, but the text "Stereo" "Dolby Surround" etc aren't. | Posted: | | | | Well, as far as I can tell the Audio Formats are not being picked up correctly on the reports either.
The HD DVD of 300 indicates on the back sleeve of the case: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Digital.
The Audio Tracks listed on the main Profiler Page and the Edit Profiler/Audio & Subtitles for this disc are, in order: a. English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 b. English Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 c. French Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 d. Spanish Dolby Digital Plus 5.1
When I run any report that includes Audio Formats this disc entry comes up as: (b.) Dolby Digital Plus (shouldn’t it be Dolby TrueHD?) If I remove entries b, c, and d the disc entry comes up correctly as Dolby TrueHD If I add back the b entry only the report now shows this disc entry as Dolby Digital Plus If I reverse a and b it still shows this disc entry as Dolby Digital Plus If I move the TrueHD entry to the bottom of the list the entry is still Dolby Digital Plus
I kept grinding on what error I was making in the process but after performing the above it appears that Audio Formats being picked up in reports is broken as well. Or am I not understanding something? |

Some of us find 'printing off' a report as eco-friendly .pdf's very useful too... |

(I was under the impression that at least the invelos reports are installed new, or did I overwrite 'em with my backup-restoring?) Anyway, e.g. for the "Invelos Classic DVD Listing" the change is easy: edit report -> contentNow click the channels-symbol and you'll see that on the left there is a field "Display Type: Icon". If you click the adjacent "DVDAudioChnls" you see that the field ist empty, go to the field and change it to "Description" and everything is fine. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
