Yesterday I was prompted to install pic2shop on my ipod touch.

Today, when I select the update collection - then cancel - dvd profilers shuts down and loads pic2shop automatically with the keypad selected

I wasn't able to duplicate on my iPhone4.  The Cancel button seemed to cancel the request.

I'm using the Ipod Touch 64 GB.

Have you loaded pic2shop? It was loaded because the Invelos App demanded it (I think the first time I cancelled the update).

I can't duplicate this on my iPhone4 either.

It cancels the update as expected. Have tried with pic2shop running/multitasked and when it's not running. Same behaviour.

I'm not pressing the cancel whilst it's updating.

On the first screen where the Actions say "Update Collection" or "Cancel" - if I press cancel then every time it brings up pic2shop.

Sorry for the confusion caused by my wording. I'm in fact cancelling on the first page after you select Update Collection just as you describe. Can't duplicate what you experience.

the Ipod Touch doesn't have a camera, it's only the Ipod Phone which has one. (the pic2shop starts up with the keyboard entry screen showing)

Actually, the current model does have a camera. But since you use an older model without the camera, shouldn't simply deleting pic2shop solve your problem ? DVD Profiler only needs that program when you choose to add a disc by scanning the barcode, which you obviously can't do without a camera.

the program can be used without a camera to find the cheapest online store for DVds - I just have to manually type in the digits of the barcode.

I have deleted Pic2Shop - and then I get the message "The Free app Pic2Shop is required but not installed. Visit the App Store now? Yes No"

Every single time...

There must be something in dvd profiler which is doing this call - why else would it keep asking for it?

- and I remember that Ken mentioned ages ago before his app was released that pic2shop would be used for barcodes.. so he has put this code in there..

For older iPod Touches without a camera, pressing Cancel on that dialog incorrectly launches the barcode scanner.  This has been corrected for the next version.

thanks Ken.

I just needed to know I wasn't unique with the problem so it could be replicated (and resolved sometime)
