| Posted: | | | | the error is probably with one of the movie entries, since it's syncing about 1100 of 1500 movies before I get this message....

| Posted: | | | | To find the culprit, you can try flagging a range of profiles on your desktop and selecting Collection->Flagged->Set Exclusions. Exclude some from iPhone and retry the sync. You could start with half your collection and work your way up/down in large groups to find it. If you can identify the profile, please let me know and if possible, send a backup file including only that profile to dvdprofiler@invelos.com so I can fix the root problem. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. | Posted: | | | | Seems all fine lucsi. Does DVD Profiler on your desktop run, it must run to sync. And if it is not this then I believe you need to buy the desktop application, sync does only work with paid version. But this you must ask Ken. | Posted: | | | | I got the same error as the OP at the same time on both my iphone4 and iPad when doing the initial sync at the same time. The iPhone prompted me to connect again & then crashed. Upon app restart, the iPhone keeps prompting me to connect, does the sync, but my local collection always says zero. Same thing for the iPad but I had to tap the collection button to be prompted to sync.
I renamed the database/converted to local and created a new db on the iPhone. Performed a sync, went fast but no profiles copied. Reinstalling the app made no difference, sync goes very fast, no profiles copied. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

| Posted: | | | | There's a "Help" button on the iPhone's connection settings page with a good walk through of the connection setup. If you haven't already, please try stepping through that. If you're still having difficulty, please post the details of your network setup here (IP, port, firewall, router, etc) | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Went down to my PC, saw that DVDP seemed to have hung. It let me quit and reported that clients were connected but the status bar said none were. Upon relaunching DVDP, it reported that it did not shut down correctly and prompted to do a database repair, which I let it do.
Launched the app on the iPhone and it prompted to sync, so I decided to let it. Sync completed successfully on the iPhone (haven't tried the iPad yet).
While the sync was taking place and copying the profiles, I clicked on a different profile in DVDP, no response for a few seconds, then received the following: A database error occurred. (Prompts to perform a repair). DBISAM Engine Error # 8962 Data record buffers corrupt in the table 'COLLECTION'
I was able to click and view on profiles in DVDP after OK'ing the error message including the profile that threw it - but the sync was copying images at that point. |

| Posted: | | | | Looks like you can't view profiles on the desktop while syncing profiles to an iOS device. While syncing profiles to my iPad, I received the following error on the desktop: DBISAM Engine Error #10242 Cannot unlock table or record in the table 'COLLECTION'
ETA: Functionality was as expected (able to view profiles) after dismissing the error. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |
