| Posted: | | | | Once again... I must agree... as long as we have the linking system that we do... this is a must! Please Ken! | | | Pete |

I've never been in favor of anything that promotes this flawed common name system, but do not care anymore since I'm no more interested by anything that concerns the online collection of errors. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | I have my own linking system, so I don't really use the common name system here (wich is flawed because everybody can contribute anything, but it's another story and since Ken doesn't understand that it's the biggest flaws of his database repeating it won't change anything). But I agree like each time the subject of a new sub-forum was brought to Ken attention... Like I said I don't use the system but that will clean the contribution forum. | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

| Posted: | | | | Even though I do not care that much about linking, IMO the common name threads fit quite well into the contribution forum. As long as they are tagged nicely with "common name" and the person's name in the subject, I do not object against those threads. And lately the all around traffic in the forums has decreased any way. Therefore I don't see the need for yet another sub forum. |

| Posted: | | | | Oh joy. Another topic about this subject. Topic #1 - Went from January 2010 until July 2010 covering 10 pages. Topic #2 - Went from August 2010 to October 2010 covering just over 4 pages. I wonder how many pages we will cover this time! I still believe in this idea, and for a short while Ken seemed interested in the idea and discussion as well. Even though it will never be accepted as a good idea by 100% (but what ever is?), I think most of us would just like to hear a "yes" or "no" from Ken. "I'll think about it"-style limbo drives this forum mad it seems | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

True. That would be like your own private game room, I'm surprised that you don't like the idea... |
