| Posted: | | | | Hey.
I got the problem that dvd profiler does not automatically count up in a second Collection. If I add a Disc to a Collection (not to "All") it's starting with index 1 although there are already discs in the collection. I tried to find a way to solve it but the option "Unique Index in Collection" seams to be buggy or I'm missunderstanding it.
Can anybody help me?
Thx. |

| Posted: | | | | No. If I check "Globally Unique" it will continue to count (when adding new discs) with the next free index number of "All" discs, I think.
I want it to continue the index number of the corresponding Collection. Example:
300 discs in "All" 200 discs in "AnotherCollection" 100 discs in "AthirdCollection"
Now i want to add a disc to "AthirdCollection". DVDProfiler should give the new disc the index 101. But in the moment its using index 1 every time I add new discs.
When adding discs to "All" it works fine.
Thx for your help. |

You have two choices: Either each collection has its own numbering, starting with 1, or there is one global numbering system, where collections get mixed up.
However, the program does support completely seprate databases. I think you still will need to renumber setting a starting point, and new discs may then again get number 1, but I am not sure about the latter. | | | Hans |

Maybe a silly question, but is number 1 occupied by or assigned to a profile or is it free? You might wanna try renumbering and see what the number then is when you add a profile. |
