| Posted: | | | | Simply wanted to point out to Adrian Wright, and the others... Did I or did I not say that the end of the month promise would happen again? And don't bother ragging on me, I only came here to post the point. It will NOT happen anytime soon, and that is Ok. My only Beef is that we keep being told, "By the end of the Month". Really. And everyone said, "Apple did this to cause delays", or "Apple did that". Right. I know. The Weather was too Bad to work on it too. Rag on me all you want, but I said it, I called it, you said I was wrong? The Old Guy proved himself right again, and you ragging on me isn't going to make it come any sooner. And I am not ragging either to make it come sooner, I simply said it wasn't going to happen and you said it was. Plain and simple. Now lock this thread too, pretend it never happened, go home and cry, and wait...they will tell you AGAIN that it will be here..."By the end of the Month". |

| Posted: | | | | I'm sorry but I don't believe the owner of this program ever said that this product would be out at the end of this month. Could you please post the thread that you are basing this on.
Please note I have absolutely no interest in this feature - I still use a rotary phone - but I'm curious as to where Ken said the things you claim he did. |

| Posted: | | | | I would like the app as soon as possible. Would rather wait than have it now and full of bugs. |

| Posted: | | | | I really did post this into the right Forum... Is this the Forum for feature requests for DVD Profiler for the iPad / iPod? The feature request I am making is to release it so we can use it. And so far, that would be the Best Feature I can think of... AND - I would not rather wait, I would rather have a BUG FILLED Version so we could see that a Version really exists and that we could help the Coles Troubleshoot. Do they NOT release Betas of it in the other platforms? Hmmmmm. I Swear to God, if it isn't released for 10 Years some of you will STILL say, "I would rather wait until...Blah, Blah, Blah" Are they REALLY working on it? Prove it, How Buggy can it still be after all these MONTHS of working on it? Release it now and all of us LOYAL users could help find the Bugs for you. Or am I still being Stupid and Immature? And to all of you that still insist that it was never promised by the end of the Month? Remember all of you that told me that it was promised by the end of THIS month, not LAST month? And I told you I would not come back on until I could say, "I told you so?" Yes, this is what I am writing about... I told you so...so, when NOW should we be able to look forward to an EXISTING Software simply coded for the iPad? Or is it like converting Chinese to English? I think not. | | | Last edited: by meerupps |

| Posted: | | | | I do share your frustations and can hear where you are coming from meerups. I even tried the Collectorz iPad app. Whilst it was nice, the Desktop version is not a patch on DVDP. Come on Ken, can we please have an update as to when this program will drop.
I must say, despite my disagreements with Meerups, I am starting to see where he is coming from with this. He may just be going about voicing this in the wrong way.
Not a dig my friend, I assure you. |

Please note I have absolutely no interest in this feature - I still use a rotary phone - but I'm curious as to where Ken said the things you claim he did. No need to be curious. Ken never said it would be available at the end of the month. He said it would be available in October. Then he said he found a critical bug in the way the iOS version worked with the desktop version and would need to release a new version of the desktop program first. Since that is still in beta, obviously there wasn't a new announcement for the release of the iOS version. |

| Posted: | | | | Kens word's were as follows :-
In addition to the above sync fix, 3.7 has fixes for some of the reported issues in 3.6.2. After the initial beta, feel free to request high priority fixes, but we won't be dragging this beta out long - a planned two weeks tops
This was dated the 28th of October 2010. Not sure when the beta first dropped, as I have not used this yet. Following this advice, you can see why peoples tempers and patience are getting a little short.
I am prepared to wait though, as I know the end product will be worth it. | | | Last edited: by Adrian Wright |

| Posted: | | | | I think we get the point - you aren't happy with the way things are going. There's no need to remind us of this. |

| Posted: | | | | While the end product almost surely will be worth it, an early release would, and could be an asset to the developer's...I am one of those "Impulse" buyers and since getting my iPad around April, I already have over 450 apps. I only put this to tell you that I get Updates for my apps Daily. Every single day I get at least one update. So an early "Buggy" release would be an asset because I assure you, we users would likely pick and find any bugs, maybe even Faster than the Developers! You know, two heads are better than one? How about hundreds of us looking for Bugs for you? While a lot of arguing has been going on in here, I think we all are ready for an iPad / iPod release, buggy or not. Wasn't the 3.7 Beta released to prep the iPad / iPod anyway? Perhaps we can find out which end of which month we can expect that one? Believe it or not, I am usually neither a complainer, nor troublemaker - we really have patiently awaited this for a long enough time that the Developers may want to consider throwing us a Bone. We can perhaps Help? |

We can perhaps Help? I am waiting for the app too as we all are. It would have just been nice if you would have worded many of your post like you worded the last 2. It doesn't help to be aggressive and insulting. |
