I hope this is the right place for this:

I've just submitted a contribution note including the word ShXtbirdz It's a nickname that was spelled wrong earlier (without the z). In the notes it appears as shiitake mushroombirdz ?! (Edit: The same happens here if I replace the X).

Whoever reads the contribution must finally think I'm outta my mind if he doesn't do already. That submission already was declined and I think this won't make it any better.

Alright, I found the topic for this but that brings me to the next one. The search function here isn't really good. If I run the search I often (if not ever)  get timeout errors. In the rare occasions that a search is working I get wrong results like no result for "mushroom" at all !?! I apologize for making up another topic. But on the other hand wha't shoudl I do if not use the search engine?!

The forum search is a known PITA. Just use Google to search only this website by adding site:invelos.com  to your search term(s).

And regarding the filter, do you have  to use the nickname in the notes? If you want to comment on a No vote, just address the vote itself and not the user. Doing that is recommendable anyway, to avoid hostility in the first place...

Well, it was a new entry / DVD being declinded. I wrote in the first try that I've copied the cast of a different release and edited it a bit to better match the credits. That was declined because I should be more specific. Actually the matter was a different person but I thought I'll better be extremly precise and all I did was to end up with a lot of mushrooms

With cream sauce, onions and Semmelnknödeln they'll make an uncommonly delicious meal. 

If you copy another profile, just provide its EAN/UPC and Locality, indicate what you have copied (e.g. Cast, Crew, Extras) and that you have verified the data for the actual disc you own. If you made changes to the crew/cast section, state that they are exactly as credited.
