| Posted: | | | | So, we have this credit: Quote: Crowd at Stadium ... Every Screwball in San Diego County How the heck to I enter that? Should I just enter "Every Screwball in San Diego County" as an actor? Also, from the same film, does "Giant Tomatoes" count as Creature Design? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

Quote: Crowd at Stadium ... Every Screwball in San Diego County How the heck to I enter that? Personally, I would omit it. They couldn't possibly have fit 1,000,000 people into a stadium. --------------- | | | Last edited: by scotthm |

| Posted: | | | | I think it might be hard to find a telephone directory from 1978 at this juncture. Any serious notions on what I should do with these credits? | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | I would enter it as a stage name. It's a name they are using to refer to a group, no different than if they had credited a marching band or a football team. |

| Posted: | | | | I'd enter it as seen on screen. (even with the problem it won't fit all in the first name field)
I can imagine nothing under Giant Tomatoes, so I wouldn't enter it. Something more the credits say? |

| Posted: | | | | The film in question is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. The credit simply is:
Giant Tomatoes ... Rob Matzenauer
He created the giant tomatoes that appear in the film. That's why I thought it might go under "Creature Design". The credit before it is for Special Effects and the credit after it is a costume credit. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | As this would be a credit that need further reasearch, I wouldn't include it.
Without research it could also be the person who build them, some kind of mechanic or whatever. (Imho if you want to track it, keep it local) |

I also agree "Every Screwball in San Diego County" as a stage name. |

I can't advise you on what you should do, but I would ignore them as they are meaningless to me*. Others will no doubt disagree. --------------- * Though the designer of the "Giant Tomatoes" could potentially be of less disinterest than the non-identities of the members of the crowd, I don't think it is contributable. |

| Posted: | | | | All the same to me, but I dump the screwball credit. It's cute and a great shout out, but completely worthless to me from a cast perspective. It's not a whole different from those old WW II movies where they list the cast and then The Fighting 101st, or whatever. I don't include the 101st in those instances either as they are essentially the extras. Just because they managed to identify an organization that provided the thousand extras doesn't make them any more worthy of inclusion than a stadium full of anonymous yokels. | | | Last edited: by mdnitoil |

P.S. I also agree "Every Screwball in San Diego County" as a stage name. I agree with this. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
