About a week ago I purchased Invelos DVD PROFILER.
This evening after bringing in the database about 300 DVD'S and Blue-ray's and not ready yet I must have push the wrong button on my PC because all the Thumbnails at the left side by Owned are gone.

Also when I enter a new DVD no thumbnail or list is shown now.
Where have they gone - can somebody please give me the solution

you've just changed the view. There is an icon on the right side of that frame. Click on it and choose the option to display thumbnails.

Or, you may have closed the Collection List window. To have it show; select the View menu item, under that select Windows, make sure there is a check mark in front of Collection List.

edit:
I see it wasn't this, never mind.
