| | Posted: | | | | I would like it to be possible to enter more information on the video specifications of Blu-ray's into DVDProfiler.
So is the video at a resolution and rate of 1080p23.976, 1080i50 or 1080i60 or something even more unusual. Was the codec used AVC, VC-1 or MPEG-2.
Don't know if the cast and crew crowd is also interested in that though |

I would also love to see this.
The only problem I can see is with releases that used more than one codec. For example Lionsgate originally released The Descent with an MPEG-4 AVC codec. But for some reason they later reissued it with an inferior DNR-applied MPEG-2 codec. Yes, but it's harder to track down or know of the original codec in these cases, since the discs and packaging are virtually identical and they were silent reissues by the studios. Any way I can fully disable the Digital Copy feature listing crap in Tools or anything? Perhaps dual listings of certain titles should be in order. There isn't a listing for the non-Limited Edition The Evil Dead Blu-ray either. How about some icons or something indicating whether or not the title has been scrubbed of grain using DNR/EE?
