I do backups once in a while, but I always have the Owned tab selected. Does it take every profile anyway? E.g. All tab. I want it to take all profiles from all tabs (I don't use custom).

I've never needed to do a restore, yet. Can I restore a backup made from database A named C into a new database B named C? I worry the name on A (C) will cause error if I try a restore to the new database B (C). I'm hopping the actual name of the database A does not carry over to B. Silly, I know! I just need confirmation, realy!

Thanks!

All profiles are included in the back-up.

The restore will get in the database you selected. If you do a restore in the database "Xyrano's Movies" the name "Xyrano's Movies" will remain, no matter how the database was called you made a back-up from.

I second that. Totally FAQ worthy.

As a side note, remember to select "Restore Specific Profiles" when restoring to a database that's not empty. Otherwise, if you choose "Restore All Profiles", actually all profiles in your database B (or C? I lost track of the naming... ) will be deleted.
