| Posted: | | | | I'm having problems with pasting in crew data for discs with two features on one disc. I enter a divider with the name of the first film, then paste and append the crew data, and all the pasted information goes ABOVE the divider. How do I get it below? Can I then add a second divider and paste and append the crew for the second film? I'm sure this is very basic, but I'm afraid I've tried everything I thought of it without success... |

| Posted: | | | | The crew section is a bit awkward when it comes to things like this. What you need to do is make sure the crew you are copying are already under a divider, as it's included in the copying. Even adding dividers to crew can get messy. I think you're best option is to simply drag and drop the names under the first divider and add the second divider. Then, when you paste and append the second film you'll find that that data also goes right to the top! Again, drag and drop the names all the way down to under the second divider.
Another, more complicated way, is to paste your crew information into Notepad and add this line just under the <Credits> line:
<Divider Caption="{name of divider}" Type="Episode"/>
Copy all the info again and paste that into the new profile. Do the same for the second film, it should work - I hope! |

I recently c&p (and appended) Crew-Information from Childs of a TV-Set to a new re-released Parent without a hitch. The difference of course being that the divider were already there. So maybe the way to go is to enter the divider in the source-profile at the top of the crew-section, and then copy all and append it into the destination-profile? cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
