Am I missing it under the genres somehow, or did it completely disappear in 3.0?

Sorry, I guess this should have really been posted in the contributions secton of the forum.

It is gone as you now have the production country (unfortunately only one country though). Foreign never made any sense for a shared database (every single movie is forreign to some, and local to other users).

Agreed; personally I used it for when the language of the Locality of a disc was not on the audio streams (ie. I needed to watch it using subs)  but that was just personal preference!

Foreign was never a genre, never will be, just as classic isn't. If you miss it, add it to your tags.

This is an American database, so foreign refers to non-American films. It is nonsensical to state that all films are foreign to someone as this removes context from language. Having said that, foreign is no more a genre than classic.

What makes you think that this is an american database? DVD Profiler is available worldwide and in many languages. This makes it imho an international database and the production country gives perfect sense.

There's that elitist American attitude.  It's no wonder everyone despises us .
