| | Posted: | | | | There is a couple fields where we could really use a "None" option to differentiate between having none and the work just not being done yet. This would really help for when looking at what profiles need to be updated.
The fields I recommend (And I can be missing some as well)...
Regions:
I know we used to have it... but add back the "All" option. This way we can know if the work has already been done or not. Plus... this would bring the program back to what the rules tells us since they still say to use "All"
Subtitles
No way to know by looking at the profile if the work hasn't been done... or if there really is no Subtitles. So a "None" check box would be welcome | | | | Pete |

IMHO, this was an excellent change, and I for one would not like to see it reversed. Please keep this the way it is. As is now it says the same thing whether it is region free or if it has never been checked. So it would have to differentiate between the two. So if we are going to add something... why make it anything different then "All" which mean something to the program... instead of "Completed" which would still have to indicate something that is different in the program view. | | | | Pete |

But here... the way it is now it shows the same thing as if nothing has never been entered. So you don't know if it is really all/region free... or if it is something that was never checked. I don't know about most people... but I for one... when I see something like that I have a tendency to check... and recheck as time goes by because it just looks like it could have never been done. | | | | Pete |

There was no "All Regions" box - instead, people ticked the boxes for all regions. Ken implemented a filter to put an end to that, and I would not like to see that reversed. |

| | Posted: | | | | Another problem I see with this... Most people probably consider the terms Region Free, All Regions and No Regions as one and the same. Even the covers disagree wildly, some say All Regions, some say Region 0 and some say nothing at all or just list the default region so as not to confuse anyone. I just wouldn't trust the data no matter what unless I checked it myself or the contribution notes said that it had been checked with some disc info tool.
