I attempted to register for the site.  Unfortunately I never received an activation email (might have caught by spam filter).

Now I am in limbo. 
Can't re-register (Userid and email address in use).
Can't login as not yet activated.
Can't contact the site owner.
It seems I can make a donation.

Any idea how I can get this resolved so I can download the plugin?

Since you're registred since 2007,  I think you're speaking of the TIVX plugin.

You could try to PM the developer of this plugin.
