| Posted: | | | | On a contribution to the First Season of Terminator SCC (5051890003515, Germany) I saw a strange thing. In the voting screen it looks like the contribution deletes links to the child entries. (see pic below) In my vote I asked why removing. The contributor says he is removing no box set entries, there are none. And yes, if I check my collection, there are no child profiles and if I check for them DVDP says there are none available. How can this happen? Can we link child profiles that are not in the online database? | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

Assuming those child profiles don't exist online, then it looks like that's what has happened here. Whoever added them to the main profile really should have submitted the children too. |

| Posted: | | | | I think what has happened is that the person that contributed the parent has created local child profiles but has not contributed them. I would say that the person removing the box set content should not because if someone does eventually contribute the child profiles they will be a automatically linked to the parent profile at the moment but will not if the disc IDs are removed |

| Posted: | | | | I think the most recent contributor is not removing links. If the original contributor linked to local profiles that were not online, than a later contributor will not have the child profiles and his/her profile will have no links to contribute.
Unless in this caSe VirusPil is the only one have local child profiles? | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | DisIDs for boxset content should remain if (and only if) the initial release contained more than 1 disc. Since it's more than unlikely that it didn't, the contributor probably misunderstood the rules for boxsets regarding TV-Shows. The fact that the children weren't uploaded yet doesn't justify a removal from the boxset content. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
