| Posted: June 30, 2010 12:37 PM | | | | Is there a trick to getting the internet rating sites buttons (on the top menu ribbon) to interactively display ratings like Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, etc? I'm using Profiler and work and home and for some reason, the ratings only show up at work. I've got the same version at both places. I can still use the buttons to go to the particular sites, but I really liked the option to just see the ratings as I select different movies while in Profiler.
I also noticed that it doesn't work for IMDb at either location, but I'm guessing that's more an IMDb thing than some setting I may not have correct? Has anyone got IMDb to display ratings...that would be great. Thanks, Mike |

Sadly, in some cases even if the link is known to the program, the rating doesn't show automatically. Haven't found out yet why this might be the case. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: July 1, 2010 12:18 PM | | | | The page you referred to is my on-line collection page, so it's the same no matter what PC I access it from...thats whats confusing me, when I look at my collection on my work PC for example, the Rotten Tamoto scores actually show up in my DVD Profiler menu ribbon, so I can click from movie to movie and see the scores actually change. When I look at my collection on my home PC, all I get in the menu ribbon is the icon for the Rotten Tomato site, but no actuals scores show up. Thats why I feel like theres a setting on the program on my home PC thats not set up correctly. The internet settings on my home PC must be correct, because I can upload and download my collection...so it's getting to my on-line collection. Any other ideas? |
