Maybe this is an option that I am somehow overlooking in the User Settings. If not...

I would prefer not being sent an e-mail every time that I receive a PM. If I am not checking the site regularly, I could care less about an e-mail telling me I need to check the site, and if I am checking the site it isn't necessary.

So, I would love an option to turn off the e-mails related to sent PMs (but only an option). I suppose I could just block the sending address, but I don't know if there are other purposes for the same sending address that I might want or need to receive.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.

I thought it was there somewhere.

Seems it isn't, so:

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I have looked everywhere also and I can't find it. I like to be reminded about private messages, but every time a new post happens for my subscriptions...come on it's not necessary and really gets old having my phone vibrate all day.

Definitely agree that there should be an option for it.

There is an option in your email account ( outlook/ outlook express)  where you can take the emails with the heading ( i.e. PM ) and put them directly into the recycle bin ...

Just change your email to some trash account on the web.

But that would prevent you from getting announcements via email.  If anything, set up an auto-delete rule in your email app.
