| Posted: | | | | Today, I tried to send a PM to a user to whom I never send anything before, and I discovered that he had blocked me. What is funny is that he did it twice. I didn't know it was possible to block the same user twice. I wonder whether it is safer for a user to double-block another one that is likely to send him such horrible things that I usually write. | | | Images from movies |

| Posted: | | | | I've also got a double blocking in my list.
In your case it seems most likely the "submit" was recorded twice, maybe due to an internet connection interruption. It doesn't matter if you're blocked once, twice or fifteen times, the result is just the same. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

Maybe it's less to do with how open-minded that user is than it is to do with how close-minded you appear to them? Edit: I certainly don't appreciate posts in the technical support forum if your only intent was a veiled attack on another user. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

Yes, you are probably right. This is an interesting point of view that I will have to take in consideration for my future participation here. greenie for you | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | I just wonder what happens if this user unblocks you. Does he/she get your PMs twice then?? Funny, to me it seemed that surfeur reported a bug within the blocking system. You definitely never know how things get anticipated around here. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

It was his second comment that made me think that. If I've misinterpreted his post then I unreservedly apologise. |

| Posted: | | | | Hmm, long time ago I got a message a user blocked me, but in the list (see surfeur's screenshot) I never saw one. Was also strange. |

I can't remember the reason, though. Obsessive-compulsive disorder maybe? Just... can't... block.... enough times! | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
