I see a small gap in the top grab, but none in the 2nd grab.
But did you not want to put these in the other thread?

Sorry north I'm referring to the S.Wiles credits, to me the point of the "W" is above the "." indicating no space

He could have done but the screen grabs refer to both
S.Wiles & R.E.Dearing

In which case I see gaps on both. I think they've cheated and exploited the slope of the W to create it.

But the problem is when you type it out it doesn't match the on screen credit when you add a space S. Wiles but with no space it matches S.Wiles

Personally since there is a presence of a full stop (period to our cousins over the pond) I would suggest your S. Wiles and for Dearing the same R. E. Dearing but then as far as entering them in the "Names Fields" I doubt if you would need the "space"
ie:-

First    S. (no space)
Last    Wiles
Middle

First    R. (no space)
Last    Dearing
Middle E. (no space)

as when viewed in DVDP it should look like the credit anyway.

Personally I think it's more of a font issue than a data issue. I would argue that the credit reads S. Wiles but that the font used makes it look like S.Wiles but as I said in the other thread I wouldn't vote against either option.

But to tie it to your original post, I would not even consider the S.Wiles option for common name.
