When adding a DVD by title, the list of DVD's found in the database is shown as:

Status | Media Type | Region | Title | Year | Locality | Release | UPC

The "Status" column shows via an icon whether or not an item is already in your collection. I am requesting the same feature to be added to the "Refresh Updated DVD Profiles" window.

Of course this means every item that appears in the profile updater is currently in your list (so, no blank squares), but everyone uses their database in a different way and particularly so since the ability to add 10 more custom collection categories was introduced.

The main conveniences of this feature would be the ability to sort updates by collection category and to more-easily distinguish similar titles placed in different categories.

For instance, I own a movie, have a "better" version of the movie in my wishlist, and a "version to avoid" in a custom category. This feature is insignificant by general standards, but I can't count the number of times that I have updated profiles and at first glance thought "Now which copy is this?" since my best ways of remembering are usually location and cover image, neither which can be viewed from an Update (unless, of course, the cover is being updated as well).
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

He who MUST get the last word in on a pointless, endless argument doesn't win. It makes him the bigger jerk.
